Is microneedling painful?
No, you should not feel any pain during your treatment.
A topical anesthetic is applied to the skin approximately 45 to 60 minutes before the treatment begins. This helps to numb the area and help prevent any discomfort during the procedure.
Your skin may appear red and feel like you have a mild sunburn which should improve within 24 hours, however it may take 2-3 days depending on the extent of the treatment.
Is there any downtime?
No there is no downtime required after the treatment, meaning you can return to work or school immediately afterwards.
You should refrain from wearing makeup for 24 hours after the treatment.
What conditions can microneedling treat?

Patients who are undergoing active cancer treatments, pregnant women and those with skin infections, active acne, moderate-severe psoriasis and eczmea and those taking certain medications are not able to undergo this treatment.
How soon will I see results?
How many treatments will I need?
This can depend on the area being treated and the severity of the condition. However it is typical to expect 3-6 treatments spaced out every 2-6 weeks for 6 months.
